To raise funds and facilitate Fraser Flight’s entry in the 2027/8 Global Solo Challenge sailing circumnavigation race, to promote oceanic adventure and innovation in sailing, with a focus on pushing the boundaries of human endurance, technology and promoting Charitable works in Zimbabwe.
To generate funds through crowd funding and corporate sponsorship to invest in and purchase solo sailing equipment, including vessels, autopilots, navigation systems, and communication tools, enabling safe, efficient, and successful completion of the circumnavigation race.
Procurement and re-sale of race related merchandise including clothing, branding, book sales and related items.
As a non-for-profit company once the race is completed in 2028 the boat will be sold and all funds from this sale, as well as remaining sponsorship funds and merchandise profits will be channelled towards UK based charities that work in Zimbabwe. The primary Charity that the company will support will be “African Parks” which supports wildlife conservation in Zimbabwe and throughout Africa. Other UK based charities will be considered by the company to be supported providing they are engaged meaningful and impactful charitable works in Zimbabwe.
